Grupo Ecoenergía works as BCIE´s supervisor for the San Jacinto Geothermal Project in Nicaragua

Grupo Ecoenergía works as supervisor for the Banco Centroamericano de Integración Económica at the San Jacinto de Tizate Geothermal Project in Nicaragua. This project is being executed by the Canadian firm Polaris through PENSA, its Nicaraguan subsidiary.

San Jacinto currently produces 10 MW.  Once the first phase of the project is completed, it will produce an aditional 24 MW.

PENSA plans to take the project to a production capacity of 72 MW.
